416 Community Support for Women

The “416” has been in
existence since 1984. The house was donated
to provide a safe & supportive environment
for socially isolated women of all ages.
Primarily the age group is women 30 years
and up.
The services offered are varied such as
meals, showers, laundry and used clothing.
Available to the women are programs on
Life Skills, Financial management, and
Crisis Intervention as well as programs
on social, recreational, and personal
development.
Sharon, a ROSE Volunteer Board member,
collects clothing & toiletries all year
round and makes two deliveries a year
(one in the Fall & one in the Spring).
ROSE Volunteers also accept any donations
preferably cheques (to be made out to ROSE
Volunteers). Donations of $10 or more can
be issued a tax receipt.
